Bursary categories

Allied healthcare professionals (local) Singapore-based allied healthcare professionals (all non-doctors) who are unable to attend without financial support. Free registration to the conference. You will be informed by email. 

Healthcare professionals (low & middle income countries)

 

Healthcare professionals based in low and middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank). Unable to attend without financial support. Preference will be given to applicants who have submitted an abstract.

Free registration to the conference.
Up to SGD 1000 to cover airfare to Singapore & accommodation costs in Singapore.

You will be informed by email. We will reimburse you up to SGD 1000 for your airfare to Singapore & accommodation costs in Singapore. Valid receipts must be produced. Reimbursement will be made by direct bank transfer and may take up to 8 weeks to process.

International presenters 

(Bursary Option 3 is no longer open for applications because abstracts have closed)

Submitted an abstract determined by Scientific Review Committee to be of the highest quality but who are unable to attend without financial support.

Free registration to the conference.
Up to SGD 1000 to cover airfare to Singapore & accommodation costs in Singapore.

You will be informed by email. We will reimburse you up to SGD 1000 for your airfare to Singapore & accommodation costs in Singapore. Valid receipts must be produced. Reimbursement will be made by direct bank transfer and may take up to 8 weeks to process.

 

Applying for a bursary

  1. If you are submitting an abstract, you will be asked whether you wish to seek bursary support and to provide a statement of need during the abstract submission process.
  2. If you have not submitted an abstract, you can apply for a bursary under Category 1 or 2 above. The closing date to apply for Category 1 Bursary (local allied healthcare professionals) has been extended to 3 February 2017. Bursary applications for Categories 2 and 3 are now closed. We will announce the bursary awardees in mid February 2017.

The decision to award a bursary is at the discretion of the ICCEC 2017 Organising Committee, and all decisions made are final.

HPF Conference Subsidy
